Bold color fields, graphic lines and touches of gold create a contrast between familiarity and stillness. What remains is presence. Playful, confident and unexpectedly calm.
How the idea came to life
This series emerged from an interest in iconic characters as symbols rather than storytellers. By placing them in moments of rest, the focus shifts form entertainment to presence.
Stripped of narrative tension, the figures become surfaces for projection, allowing humor, irony and calm to exist at the same time.
ICONS AT REST invites a re-encounter with the familiar. Not as nostalgia, but as a quiet, contemporary gesture.
